Finding & Keeping a Job (FAKAJ) Support
Practical employment support built from lived experience.
Service Description
This service is delivered by Nicole Miller under The Mindshift Hub and focuses on supporting participants through the Finding & Keeping a Job (FAKAJ) category of NDIS Capacity Building supports. Nicole works directly with participants to explore employment pathways, develop confidence, and build the practical skills required to move toward meaningful work, self-employment or enterprise opportunities. Drawing on lived experience and practical knowledge, sessions are tailored to the individual participant and may include exploring personal strengths and interests, developing routines that support employment, building organisation and planning skills, and identifying realistic pathways toward work or enterprise. Participants may also explore creative and practical opportunities that support skill development, confidence building, and long-term independence in employment settings. Sessions are individualised and guided by the participant’s goals, with a focus on building capability, confidence and sustainable participation in work or enterprise. NDIS Capacity Building funding may be used where supports align with a participant’s plan and goals.
