The Mindshift Hub Presents: Broken Crayons Still Colour An Intentional Drawing Session with Vanessa FRIDAY 17th APRIL | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Draw your direction. Set your intention. Feel your flow. Take your time. Now, take a breath. This is a mindful slow scribble. At the Hub, we believe that "broken crayons still colour." This session isn't about being a "good artist"—it’s about using the tools we have to find a bit of quiet and awareness. Vanessa is hosting a space to ditch the rules and lean into the experimental. YOUR TOOLS. YOUR CHOICE. • Experimental Colour: Go bright, go dark, or go messy. There is no "wrong" way to do this. • The Implement: Choice of markers, crayons, pencils, or charcoal. Pick the weapon that feels right. • The Surface: We’ve got it all. Choice of A4, coloured paper, butcher’s paper, or poster-sized card. • The Keepsake: Want something to take home? Choose from canvas paper or a canvas to hang. No skills required. No judgment allowed. Just 90 minutes of finding your own pace and making your mark in a space that actually gets it. Where NDIS funding is used (Self-Managed or Plan-Managed), these sessions are designed for social connection, wellbeing, and skills-building, not therapy. New participants are required to book a one-time orientation at least 7 days prior to their first class.
